When you place a gift order, you not only get to rename the number of your choice, you also receive -- as a memento of your new mathematical immortality -- an educational book about numbers or mathematics inscribed with a hand-written message indicating your number’s new name. What will the book be, you ask? It's a surprise (and largely based on what we happen to have on the shelves in the Registry's warehouse when you place your order).

A Universal Number Registry gift order is a wonderful, personal way to show someone that you care. What would be a better bar mitzvah surprise or Valentines gift?

Placing Your Order

Just to be on the safe side, you may want to take a glance at the most recent postings to Your Place on the Number Line to see if your number has already been taken.

When choosing your number, you need to remember four simple rules. Your number:

• Must be an integer (no decimal places or fractions allowed)
• Must be greater than 10,000
• May not be a power of ten (e.g. 100,000, 1,000,000)
• Must have 20 digits or less

Also keep in mind that this order system will not verify that your number meets these guidelines. If our crack team of numberologists finds that the number you chose is ineligible -- either because it violates one of the rules or because it has already been renamed -- you will be notified and given the chance to choose another number.

Be sure to read the Universal Number Registry rules and restrictions before placing your order. Remember, all sales are final and after you place an order your money is ours forever -- just like your number will bear your name forever.

Please make sure that PayPal has your correct e-mail address. If we do not receive your correct e-mail address, we will not be able to send you your delightful confirmation e-mail (although we will, of course, see to it that your number is expediently renamed).
